JAMMU: The Government on Tuesday reverted back to their original postings three officers including Asgar Hassan Samoon, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, who were deployed on special duty in wake of recent floods.
“In view of the enormous losses caused to the Agriculture and Animal Husbandry sectors, due to recent heavy losses, Asgar Hassan Samoon, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Agriculture Production Department, deployed as Special Relief Commissioner, South Kashmir is recalled and shall discharge his normal duties,” read a government order issued in Srinagar.
By another order, two KAS officers, who were deployed on temporary basis in the office of the Principal Resident Commissioner, J and K Government, New Delhi, for assisting him in the relief and rehabilitation measures, were also directed to report back. They are Puneet Sharma,KAS, Additional Secretary Government, General Administration Department and Raj Mohammad, Administrative Officer, office of Financial Commissioner, Revenue.
Meanwhile, the government also transferred Shiv Kumar Gupta, KAS, Joint Director, Tourism, Jammu as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Reasi.
Imam Din, KAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Doda has been ordered to hold the charge of the post of Additional District Development Commissioner, Doda in addition to his own duties, till further orders.
