Samba Police arrested 2 snatchers with sharp edged weapon, recovered snatched money within 24 hrs

SAMBA: Samba Police has arrested two snatchers with sharp edged weapon within 24 hrs in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur and recovered snatched money from their possession.

On 20.03.2025, a written complaint was lodged at Police Station Vijaypur by one Laxman S/o Mohan Lal R/o Nepal A/P Gagore tehsil Vijaypur, working as a cook in Fast Food shop at Gagore mentioning therein that on 19.03.2025 at about 11:00 PM, three unknown persons entered the said Fast Food shop, threatened him with a Tokka and snatched rupees 3000/- along with one mobile phone from him and fled away from the spot.

Acting over the complaint, a case FIR No. 32/2025 u/s 304 BNS, 4/25 Arms Act was registered at Police Station Vijaypur and investigation started.

A Police team headed by SHO Police Station Vijaypur after vigorous efforts, succeeded in arresting two accused namely Sandeep Kumar @ Gori S/o Ram Lal R/o Gudwal tehsil Vijaypur and Nikhil Kohli @ Kuku S/o Subash Lal R/o Govindpuri Colony tehsil Vijaypur within 24 hours after the incident and recovered the snatched money and one Tokka from their possession.

Further investigation of the case is going on.
