Salal Power Station being the largest PSU in district had been designated as the Head of Narakas, Reasi and General Manager, Salal Power Station has been designated as Chairman of the said Committee by Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs.All the Heads of the Govt. of India Offices, PSUs, Enterprises and Para Military Forces located in District Reasi are the members of the Committee. The meeting was attended by Heads of NHPC, CRPF, CISF, SBI, Jyotipuram, Reasi, Katra, Konkan Railway, PNB, Reasi and Katra, KV, Jyotipuram, JawaharNavodayaVidyalaya, Union Bank of India, KatraUco Bank, Katra and Postal Deptt. Jyotipuram. Speaking on the occasion, Promod Kumar Sharma, Dy. Director briefed the participants about the latest developments being made by ministry for effective implementation of the official language.
Chairman of the Committee, Himanshu Shekhar during his address requested the participants to undertake day today office work in Hindi and also to motivate the employees under their control to use official language in their routine official works. Earlier, Seraphina Lakra, Senior Manager (HR) welcomed all the participants, Dr. P.L Sharma presented vote of thanks and Kuldeep Sharma, Asstt. Rajbhasha Officer /Member Secy. looked after the proceedings.
