JAMMU: To share the best of academic practices followed in different schools in the region amongst each other and improve the efficiency of the system that works to achieve the noble cause imparting quality education in the State, a General Body Meeting-cum-Workshop for Principals of all CBSE affiliated schools in Jammu region under the banner of Jammu Sahodaya Schools Complex, (Jammu Chapter) was hosted by Sainik School Nagrota on Sunday.
Col Kapil Dev Koushal, Principal of the host School, welcomed the Heads of over sixteen CBSE affiliated schools in and around Jammu to the meeting and gave a presentation on the topic ‘Various Stages of Teaching Learning Process’.
He initiated a discussion on the strategies adopted by each school to enhance the effectiveness of the process of teaching and learning in schools.
Principals of all the schools, in turn, shared their varied experiences and approaches adopted in their respective schools to bring out the best in the students.
The President of Jammu Sahodaya Schools Complex as also Principal Jodhamal Public School, Trilok Singh Bist, Secretary as also Principal APS Damana, Dr Renu Gupta, Treasurer as also Academic Director, KC Gurukul Public School, Mrs Vijay Puri, PRO and Principal-cum-Vice Chairperson, Jammu Sanskriti School, Rohini Aima, Technical Support Officer and Principal, JK Public School Kunjwni, Dr S.K Singh and many other members of Jammu Sahodaya Schools attended the meeting.
During the meeting, responsibilities for conducting various scholastics and co-scholastics events were entrusted to various school and decisions were taken on pre-decided agenda points. Col Kapil Dev Koushal presented mementoes to all the Principals of Jammu Sahodaya Schools who attended the meeting cum workshop.
