JAMMU: Sports Authority of India (SAI) has selected two qualified officials as part of the technical penal for the upcoming Khelo India Youth Games (KIYG) being organised at Haryana from June four at Panchkula in Haryana.
Both these officials, Gourav Sharma and Govind Ram are Grade-A qualified referees of the Handball Federation of India (HFI) and have gained experience of conducting the National events during the last couple of years.
While International player and official, Gourav is a staffer of Power Development Department (PDD), Govind serves with Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP).
As per the laid down schedule, the competition in the discipline of Handball shall start from June nine.
Meanwhile, Arun Sharma Sports and Social Welfare Trust complimented both Gourav and Govind for their selection in the technical penal of the prestigious National event.
