SRINAGAR: Rahul Sahai, Chairman of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Jammu Chapter, called on Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, at Raj Bhawan Srinagar ON Tuesday.
During the meeting, Sahai highlighted key issues impacting trade, commerce, and industry in the Jammu region. He discussed the challenges faced by local industries and offered suggestions to boost industrial growth, improve Ease of Doing Business (EoDB), and strengthen public-private partnerships. He stressed the need for timely disbursement of incentives, enhanced infrastructure, effective implementation of industrial policies, and streamlined regulatory processes. Sahai also appreciated the UT Government’s proactive steps to attract investment, improve connectivity, and support economic development. Commending the administration for its efficient handling of the Amarnath Yatra and tourism revival efforts, he acknowledged the growing business-friendly environment in J&K.
The Lieutenant Governor assured continued support and engagement with the business community to drive sustainable economic progress.
