SRINAGAR: Minister for Rural Development, Ali Mohammad Sagar, on Friday, along with officers of district administration visited several areas of Khanyar constituency which included Babadamb, Khankahi Moula and Kaleshpora and took stock of the damaged caused to public property and business units.
While visiting Babdamb, the minister interacted with the owners of wood based small scale units and get brief of the damage caused to the business units. The affected owners demanded compensation to their damaged business units besides furniture items so that they can start their ventures again to sustain their normal life.
While talking to the people, whose property has been damaged in recent floods, the minister assured them that government will extend all support to them.
