This was stated by Dr Jitendra Singh who said that an NGO by the name ‘Love Care Foundation’, a constituent unit of ‘Concentrix India’, a subsidiary of multi-national IT company Synnex, US, will help in accomplishing the task in a time-bound manner. The hutments for rehabilitation will be ready at Panjar by next month and the major work for developing a smart village shall be accomplished in the next eighteen months or so, he added.
The NGO office bearers led by Ravinder Rana, GM, Concentrix, Raj Nehru, Head HR Division, Jojo Mathew, Director HR and Anjali from Love Care Foundation called on Dr. Jitendra Singh and presented to him a detailed rehabilitation and “smart” village plan for Panjar.
The NGO office bearers informed Singh that so far an amount of Rs.50 lakh had already been spent on the project and an additional budget will be allocated for the remaining part of the project as well.
Singh, while appreciating the generous gesture by Love Care Foundation and Concentrix India, said that he had committed to spare whatever amount possible for the project from his MPLAD (Member of Parliament Local Area Development) Fund but since the budget was very huge, the support offered by Love Care Foundation and Concentrix India organisations will be appreciated by one and all.
Singh stated that the September floods were unprecedented in the history of Jammu and Kashmir and as a chosen representative from the area he was trying to discharge his obligation to the affected people of the area.
