JAMMU: The State Administrative Council (SAC) is scheduled to meet tomorrow at 9.30 AM at Civil Secretariat with Governor N N Vohra in chair.
The SAC is likely to affect transfers and postings in the police and civil administration. The likely reshuffle assumes significance as the state is going for civic polls in the month of May.
Reliable sources told STATE TIMES that elections to Urban Local Bodies will get final nod of SAC and notification in this regard may follow in a day or two.
Later in the Friday afternoon, Governor N N Vohra is leaving for New Delhi to attend some meeting there, sources informed.
