JAMMU: S.K Sharma has taken over the charge of Exec-utive Director Northern Region Transmission System -II of Powergrid. Sharma shall be responsible for construction, operation and maintenance of all Central transmission projects in the States of J&K, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and UT Chandigarh. Sharma is a competent professional with over 33 years of extensive experience in Project Management, EHV Transmission and Substation construction, operation and maintenance. He is considered as one of the best professionals in power sector. Prior to joining as Executive Director NRTS-II, Sharma has functioned as Regional Head, Executive Director Corporate Monitoring Department and Executive Director Corporate Planning Department of Powergrid at its Corporate Center in Gurgaon.
