SRINAGAR: Under National Foundation for Communal Harmony Scheme, an amount of Rs. 5.95 lakh were distributed among 32 orphan children at a function held at Banquet Hall here on Wednesday.
Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Farooq Ahmad Shah who was the chief guest on the occasion urged for providing necessary financial assistance to the deserving under National Foundation for Communal Harmony Scheme. He asked the concerned officers to conduct survey for registering more beneficiaries under the said schemes to provide succour to the needy children.
SDM Srinagar East Dr. Syed Abid was the Guest of Honour.
