SRINAGAR: According to Assistant Commissioner, Food Safety, district Srinagar, the court of Adjudicating Officer who is also Additional Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar imposed a fine of Rs. 1.5 lakh on 17 food business operators for violating different provisions of Food Safety and Standards Act. These complaints were filed by the food safety wing of Drugs and Food Control Organization.
Meanwhile, 10 more samples of milk were lifted and sent to food analyst, Kashmir for analytical purpose.
