AKHNOOR: Rotary Club Akhnoor has sponsored a minor for cardiac treatment at New Delhi on club’s expenses . According to sources , the President of the Club Ankush Gupta briefed that his club has decided to send 6 years old Bansh Uttam of Krishna Colony , Akhnoor to New Delhi on the expenses of the club for undergoing cardiac treatment. The family members made a contact with the functionaries of the club and requested that the minor should be aided appropriately for his cardiac treatment , he added . Under the Gift of Fly Yojna of the club, the said minor would be aided for his cardiac treatment at New Delhi. Ankush further told that approx. Rs. 4 to 5 lakh would be spent by the club in this regard and earlier also , two children were aided by the club for such treatment and the operation as well .
The father of the child, Kewal Kumar expressed his thanks to the club and stated that he will always be indebted to the club for this timely help for the treatment of his son Bansh Uttam. Present on the occasion were Assistant Governor of the club Anoop Gupta, Ranjit Rohmetra Secretary, Pawan Gupta and others.
