JAMMU: Rotary Club of Jammu City organised a dental check-up camp at Government High School, Gole, Panjpeer, here on Friday.
Eminent Dental Surgeons Dr. Rohin Gupta, deputed by Swami Vivekanand Medical Mission, Dr. Vijay Lachotra and Dr. Ajeet Paul Singh conducted dental check-up of more than 250 students and staff members of the school and advised them about oral hygiene.
Rtn. Ravinder Kaul, President and Rtn. Sunil Kumar Sawhney, Secretary of the Club, addressed the students and staff and impressed upon them the benefits of proper dental care in order to avoid any dental disease. The students were asked to create further awareness among their parents, relatives and friends regarding proper dental care.
Mumtaz Begum, Headmistress of the School, thanked Rotary Club of Jammu City for organising the dental check up camp in the school and for creating awareness among students about dental hygiene.
All the students were provided with kits of tooth brushes and tooth pastes free of cost. Rotarian Anil Gupta was the Project Director of the Dental Check-up Camp.
Rtn Adeep Mehta, Rtn Sanjeev Vaid, Rtn Sanjay Bansal, Rtn Sandeep Berry, Rtn Gurdev Singh Sodhi, Rtn Robin Mehta, Dr. C.D Thapa and Sumeet Gandotra, Oral Care Consultant of Colgate Palmolive (India) Ltd. were also present on the occasion.
