KATHUA: Unknown robbers made unsuccessful attempt to loot cash from the Barnoti Branch of JK Bank in Kathua District on Thursday.
Police sources said that some unknown robbers managed to break back wall of the bank to make their entry but sensing trouble flee from the spot. Some people became suspicious and sensing trouble the burglars managed to flee. The people informed Police about the matter and later also contacted the bank staff. A Police party reached the spot and started investigation. However people alleged that many times they have informed the police about some suspicious gathering of unknown people near the bank but they didn’t took matter seriously.
