NAGROTA: In a move depicting complete synergy between the army and civil administration, a bailey bridge has been laid between Nagrota and Nadore village to complete the road link on the Balini Nala. The bridge, which was built in Nagrota Tehsil in 2012 was washed away in the floods in September 2014. It had severed the main road link providing connectivity to about 4000 persons residing in six village of the area across the Nala.
In the last four days the army cleared the abutment and prepared the area for erecting the bridge. While work is in progress, the Bailey bridge once constructed will restore connectivity between Nagrota and Nadore village thereby facilitating movement of villagers between the places.
