Through your esteemed daily I would like to bring into notice that the Regional News Unit of Radio Kashmir Jammu is using inappropriate words in Dogri news bulletins. Recently I listened the morning bulletin in Dogri. The reader said ” Atankwadion Ke Sath Rabta” Being a Dogra the exact and appropriate word used for this is “Saamna” There are many other flaws in the bulletin. It is really sad that such things are happening under the nose of so many officials and still nobody is looking into the matter. It is also worth mentioning that had it happened in any other language bulletin strict action would have been taken but in case of our Dogri language bulletin, no one notices such mistakes.
I request the concerned authorities and other organisations to please look into this.
