Rising Star Club wins opening tie in KCSC U-19 Cricket

JAMMU: Rising Star Cricket Club (RCSS) won the opening match of KCSC Under -19 Cricket Tournament played here on Thursday.
In an inaugural match, Rising Star Cricket Club outplayed Elite Cricket Club by 10 runs.
Earlier batting irst after winning the toss, Rising Star CC made 159 runs in 20 overs. Arjun Singh played a fine inning of 64 runs while Aryan Dassi added 32 runs to the total.
For Elite Club, Avinash grabbed two wickets whereas Laith, Sourav and Varun claimed one each.
While chasing the target, Elite Club was bundled out at 149, thus lost the match by 10 runs. Avinash, Paras and Ashutosh were the main scorers with 45, 39 and 24 runs respectively.
For bowling side, Kaif scalped two wickets while Areen and Aryan took one each.
For his match winning knock, Arjun Singh of Rising Star CC was declared Man of the Match.
The match was officiated by Ashok Singh, Sanjog Singh and Jarnail Singh.
