Rich Harvest School organises ‘Duggar Darshan’

JAMMU: To mark the golden Jubilee year of Dogra Educational Group of Institutions, Rich Harvest School organized a cultural event called ‘Duggar Darshan’.
Through this initiative Rich Harvest School tried to apprise its students about the Dogra history, traditions, culture and values. The function started with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and Saraswati Vandana.
The Principal of the School, Anita Bhatia welcomed the Chief Guest, Founder Rich Harvest School Uma Katal, Guest of Honour MD Rich Harvest School, Gambhir Dev Singh Charak and Academic Coordinator of Dogra College of Education Bela Charak.
During the program parents of Nihaansh (Class 3rd ), Rudraksh (Class 6th), Nihar (Class 5th) and Jainesh (Class 7th) shared their valuable knowledge about the rich Dogra culture, customs and traditions and apprised them about the various historical facts and episodes from the lives of great Dogra Legends like Maharaj Gulab Singh, Baba Jitto and others.
The students listened with great enthusiasm. The programme culminated with a Dogri Song presented by the students of the School. In the end, Ruchi Charak, Trustee Rich Harvest School presented vote of thanks.
