UDHAMPUR: J and K Ret Teachers Forum held a protest at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park Udhampur on Sunday under the chairmanship of its District President Rajesh Paul Singh and Senior Vice Chairman Bhupinder Singh where in large number of teachers from Ramnagar , Kulwanta, Dudu , Gordhi, Panchari, Jib Udhampur, Chenani, Tikri and Majalta Zone participated.
All the teachers in the meeting expressed resentment against pick and choose policy adopted by CEO Udhampur for the transfer of regulasied ReTs.
Addressing the protesters, Bhupinder Singh said that due to the struggle of thousands of ReTs, a transfer policy in favour of regularised ReTs was framed so that genuine cases of ReTs could be transferred but it is unfortunate that due to political pressure, CEO Udhampur has adopted pick and choose policy.
Singh also said that ReT Forum will not tolerate any political interference in transfer of teachers and warned CEO to stop pick and choose policy otherwise ReT forum will come on the roads and will register a strong demonstration in front of CEO office.
Shiv Dev, Kuldeep, Sudesh, Ranjeet, Sushil, Kewal, Narinder, Sanjeev, Bansi lal, Sumit, Jyoti Bandral, Reenu, Bandana, Kanchan, Archana, Jagdish, Kuldeep Singh, Parshotom, Satvir Singh were also present on the occasion.
