UDHMAPUR: A monthly meeting of All J and K ReT Teachers’ Forum on Sunday was held at Krishna Palace Udhampur under the chairmanship of State President Vinod Sharma and Distt. President, Lekh Raj Parihar. The meeting was attended by Distt. apexes body members, zonal body members besides a large number of RET Teachers from all the eleven zones of the Distt.
While speaking on the occasion Vinod Sharma showed resentment against the non-release of pending salary of regularised ReT teachers under SSA in many Distts. of the State. He said though the Govt. has released a month’s salary on Eid but same is not credited into accounts of these teachers due to holidays before Eid and teachers are suffering a lot.
He further said that they have already appealed to the Central and State Govt. to release adequate funds under SSA for the smooth release of salaries of these teachers.
He also demanded the release of one year arrears of regularised EVs and release of grants under KGBV scheme for regularised ReT teachers.
Lekh Raj Parihar demanded the release of grants and Mid-day Meals scheme for the proper functioning of MDM.
