JAMMU: Demanding immediate restoration of Internet facility in the Jammu city, Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) Zonal President Neeraj Gupta questioned government why the Jammu people bear for the disturbed situation of Kashmir.
Hailing the role of security forces, Gupta praised the army, BSF and other forced deployed in Kashmir for bringing back normalcy.
He said that it is very unfortunate that for the acts of separatists the patriotic people of Jammu face hardship.
Nowadays one side the business of Jammu City is affected by the disturbed circumstances of Kashmir, other side people are facing hurdles in filing their income tax as well as sales tax returns due to ban on Internet. He said that the 75 per cent of revenue of the State is collected by the authorities from Jammu even then there is no relaxation for the people of Jammu.
Students are not able to fill their admission form and some are waiting for rejoining of their classes after summer vacation, but due to suspension of Internet services they are not able to contact anybody. Banks are not able to perform efficiently, he said and demanded that the network facility should be immediately restored and date for filing of income tax
returns and sales tax returns should be extended. Rakesh Gupta State Secretary, Anil Rakwal, Ravinder Jamwal and Simranjeet Singh were also present in the press conference.
