JAMMU: Residents of Talab Tillo on Wednesday held a protest against the recent steep hike in the prices of ration commodities.
Sanjeev Sharma, Organizing Secretary JKPCC, who led the protest, demanded the withdrawal of “Nadarshahi Farmaan” causing harassment to the poor man.
Sanjeev Sharma also criticized the lowering of the ration scale by CAPD Department. Moreover the quality of ration which is being supplied is sub-standard, he said.
Others present in the protest included Vinay Sharma, Janak Raj, Naresh Digra, Nirmala Devi, Harjeet Kaur, Devinder Singh, Karan Singh, Kuldeep Raj, Champa Devi, Kanta Jain, Vishwa Bandhu Sharma, Lok Nath Gupta and Rajinder Kumar, Shama Gupta, Kala Tandon, Jugal Kishore, Swarn Kanta Jyoti, Nikhil and Rajinder.
