Residents association extends support to Bhalla
STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Channi Himmat Residents Association has decided to support Minister for Housing and Congress candidate, Raman Bhalla in the ensuing Assembly elections.
A meeting of the association was held under its President, Advocate V.K Grover in which large numbers of residents were present.
The association felt that since its inception the inhabitants of Channi Himmat Housing Colony remained deprived of even basic amenities like power, water supply, lanes, drains, railway over-bridge, schools, health centers, matador service, parks etc. and repeated pleas of the association from time to time fell on the deaf ears of the administration.
Grover stated that there is no denial of the fact that it was only with the active participation, contribution and intervention of Raman Bhalla that gradually things started moving in right direction. During his tenure most of the problems of residents were mitigated and many other projects like improvement in drainage system were initiated and are moving at fast speed by ERA and other agencies, recreation centre for senior citizens and augmentation and inter connectivity of water supply, he added.
Due to the relentless public services rendered by Bhalla and to ensure accomplishment and completion of the ongoing works, the association appealed to all the residents of the colony to extend full cooperation and cast their precious votes in his favour which shall be a tribute to his dedication and sincerity towards public cause.
