Religious Samagam marks 26th Death Anniversary of Mahant Bachitter Singh

POONCH: A religious Samagam was organised at Dera Santpura, Nangali Sahib on Friday on the occasion of 26th Death Anniversary of 12th Saint of Dera, Mahant Bachitter Singh Ji in which people from Jammu, Udhampur, Srinagar, Rajouri, Reasi and even from other states participated.
The Samagam commenced after the Bhog ceremony of 26th Akhand Path in series. The Raagi Jathas including Harpreet Singh from Paunta Sahib (HP), Ranjeet Singh Digiana Ashram, Gian Singh, Sartaj Singh, Bhai Bhopinder Singh and Bhai Harcharan Singh recited Gurbani Kirtan.
The 13th Saint of Dera Nangali Sahib Mahant Manjit Singh also addressed the Sangat and asked people to follow the teachings of Sikh Gurus and that conveyed to them by Mahant Bachitter Singh Ji. He asked the youths to know about the history of the Sikh Community that exhibited the highest character of the humanity and humility. He urged them to become true Gursikhs by sticking to Bani and Bana given to them by the great Gurus. He said that with the blessings of Guru Gobind Singh Ji, who sent to this side, the first Sant Bhai Pheru Singh Ji with Khanda Bata of Amrit, the Jammu and Kashmir’s Sikh face is known not only in the country but in the whole world which needs to be maintained always.
Prominent among those present include Chairman MBS Engineering College Jammu Onkar Singh, DGPC Poonch General Secretary Rajinder Singh and Balbir Singh.
