MENDHAR: A religious function was organised in Ramkund Temple in village Chhajla, Mankote in which the devotees from Poonch, Rajouri, Jammu and other parts of the country participated besides the locals.
There are three Kunds namely Ramkund, Lachhman Kund and Sita Kund in which devotees take a dip and then pay their obeisance in front of the Idol of Hanuman. This is a historical temple which is thousands years old where people receive the blessings of Bhagwan Ram. Mahant 108 Sita Ram Dass Ji welcomed visitors and showered his blessings. The local committee organised a Vishal Bhandara on this occasion.
