NPP leaders appeal to Mankotia for ending fast
UDHAMPUR: Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party on Thursday appealed to Udhampur MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia for ending his fast which has entered eighth day demanding distribution of relief to the flood affected people in Udhampur District and in rest of the State.
Chairman-JKNPP Harsh Dev Singh, MLA visited Udhampur and made a strong appeal to Mankotia to conclude his fast as the administration has realised their mistake in the delay of distribution of relief material to the affected people. One of the member of the five members committee constituted on the direction of Supreme Court M K Bhardwaj (President of Jammu High Court Bar Association) also visited Udhampur and made an appeal to Mankotia to end the fast as the five members committee is going to submit up-to-date status report before the Supreme Court by the morning of 10th October, 2014.
