Relief distributed among flood affected people

BILLAWAR: BJP leader Narayan Dutt Tripathi on Monday visited Jathana area of Billawar Constituency to listen to the problems being faced by the people of the area.
The residents apprised the leader of their long pending demand regarding construction of bridge. They said that for the last 12 years they are continuously putting their demand before the local MLA but nothing has been done so far. They also informed the visiting leader that they are also facing acute shortage of water and power supply.
The BJP leader assured that he will take up the matter with the authorities concerned and hoped that their problems would be addressed at the earliest.
Later, Tripathi along with BJP Mandal Pradhan Asa Nand distributed relief material to the flood affected people of Kandi area of Billawar Constituency.
Taking stock and the misery of the flood victims, Tripathi observed that people have suffered a lot and are in need of immediate help. He said that Union Government led by Narendra Modi has very liberally extended central assistance to the State Government, which most unfortunately is not reaching the genuinely deserving affected families. He assured the flood hit people that BJP will not rest till they are not fully rehabilitated.
