JAMMU: Jammu: Reliance Team emerged champions after defeating the Airtel Team in a final of the day and night Inter Telecom Tournament held inside the spacious cricket hall of KC Sports Club, here on Sunday.
Vishal Bhatia, a prominent cricketer associated with Yuvraj Singh Center of Excellence, was present at the finals.
Batting first, Airtel could manage to score only 19 runs in the stipulated 16 overs. In reply, Reliance Team batted valiantly and amassed a brilliant score of 54 runs in 16 overs and thereby emerging champions of the tournament.
The concluding ceremony was held at KC Sports Club in which Dr. Ram Thakur gave away the Champion’s Trophy to the winners.
Virender Singh Salathia and Vinod Nagra were declared the joint Men of the Match for their outstanding performance.
