Release pending installments: National Mazdoor Conference

JAMMU: The National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) on Sunday appealed to the Chief Secretary to release of pending installments in favour of the State Government employees and pensioners, as the election processes is over and the Modal Code of Conduct (MCC) has been lifted in Jammu and Kashmir.
Talking to media persons here on Sunday, President NMC, Subash Shastri said that 17 per cent DA is due from January and July beside enhancement of the wages of working class to Rs 10,000 per month.
Adding strictly implementing CP Fund scheme in all departments of the State Government declaring 7th Pay Commission as a National Pay Commission and amending SRO 64 were other demands highlighted on the occasion.
Shastri appealed to the State Government not to test the patience of the employees, as they have suffered a lot in the State.
He said that 2014 has been passed in Lok Sabha elections, then floods and now Assembly elections, so NMC appealed to release the DA in favour of employees as New Year gift.
Shastri also said that whosoever make government in the State should focus on the regularisation of the services of 62,000 causal/seasonal laborers/adhoc and contractual employees of the State Government on the priority basis.
He said that earlier government has not remained sincere regarding regularization of the services of daily rated workers.
Shastri urged upon the upcoming government to release all pending wages of causal labourers without any further delay.
