‘Regularise NHM employees forthwith’

JAMMU: Castigating the State Government for its non-serious attitude towards NHM employees in the State, All J&K National Health Mission (NHM) Employees Association demanded regularisation of their services at the earliest.
Talking to reporters here on Friday, Presidents of both Divisions Rohit Seth (Jammu) and Shaheen Nawaz (Kashmir) said that NHM staff is being ignored for many years by the Health Department and despite approaching to all the concerned higher officers time to time for the redressal of the genuine demands of the employees, the authority concerned has not responded.
They said government has constituted a four members committee nine months back under chairmanship Commissioner Secretary H&ME and it has come to their notice that the committee has submitted the report for Further perusal.
They conveyed the State Government that to expedite the regularization process of NHM employees on priority basis.
They cautioned the State Government that if the process of regularization is not being taken on priority they will start a mass agitation from December 20, 2017
Chief Spokesperson Abdul Rauoof and Vice President Dr Arun were also present in the press conference.
