BHADARWAH: Red Ribbon Club of Govt P.G College Bhadarwah organised a seminar and awareness programme on AIDS, a lurking threat to society in collaboration with JK AIDS Control Society Jammu on Monday.
The programme was presided over by Dr Javed Iqbal, Nodal Officer, Red Ribbon Club of the College and Principal Dr R.K Raina was the Chief Guest.
Dr Javed while speaking on the occasion described the threats, remedies and prevention of AIDS and also appealed to the students to know AIDS for No AIDS.
Prof H.S Chowhan delivered lecture on prevention and precaution of AIDS. Prof Sandeep Kotwal highlighted the role of Red-Ribbon Club and the students in spreading of awareness of AIDS to society. Various speakers also shared their valuable suggestions and views on the topic. The students who were facilitated for their role in the awareness include Nitin Kumar, Touqer Ali and Sammer Chowdhary. Prof H.S Chowhan, member RCC presented votes of thanks.
