SAMBA: The Vijapur Police on Sunday seized the files and measurement books from Account Section of Block Development Office (BDO) Vijaypur when the officials were allegedly preparing the fake documents of MGNREGA scheme.
According to reports the State Vice President BJP Chander Prakash Ganga reached the office of BDO and found that some officials were working inside the office while the main gate of the office was locked from outside. After getting the lock opened Ganga entered the office and found that three employees of RDD were doing illegal official work on the holiday and preparing the fake sheets of MGNREGA.
The BJP State Vice President informed the Vijaypur Police which reached the spot and seized all the documents.
Ganga said that the benefits of MGNREGA scheme did not reach to the genuine and deserving villagers but went to the fake and choicest people at the hands of RDD. Ganga urged the District Administration to investigate the mall practice in the RDD offices and ensure that the poor and genuine villagers are not deprived of their right.
