Reasi: To provide platform to the youth of far flung areas of District Reasi, District Police Reasi organized volleyball tournament at Arnas under Civic Action Programme.
Five teams of Mahore and Arnas area participated in the event and played league matches on knock out basis.
Final match was played between team Judda-B and team Arnas at Volleyball ground Arnas in which team Arnas won the match by defeating team Judda-B by 2-1 sets and lifted the winner trophy.
SDPO Arnas Pritpal Singh was chief guest of the occasion and witnessed the nail biting contest.
Besides SHO Arnas Insp. Jeet Singh, local Sarpanchs, Panchs and huge crowd of the area witnessed the final match.
Trophies, cash prize and refreshment was distributed among the players.
SDPO Arnas Sh. Pritpal Singh praised the sportsmanship of the players. He conveyed that sports activities are must for a healthy youth, and Jammu Kashmir Police is providing opportunities, platform for such sports activities to the youth. Further added that children should participate and grab the opportunities.
