STATE TIMES NEWS
REASI: To achieve 100 per cent coverage under UIDAI’s Aadhaar Scheme, Reasi District Administration constituted various teams headed by Sub Divisional Magistrates and Teshildars which will enroll people in each Panchayat of the district; this was disclosed by Deputy Commissioner Reasi Sushma Chauhan while talking to media.
These teams would follow a Panchayat-wise route plan and would provide services to every Panchayat for all left out individuals, said Chauhan.
She added that people who missed the Aadhar drive have a golden chance to get them enrolled through these teams and also those who are still waiting for their cards or have missed the card can get a copy of Aadhar from these teams. Chauhan further added, one Mobile Aadhar Enrolment unit would be present for three days in each Panchayat. The drive has been launched in Mahore area and would be rolled out in other parts of the district in a phased manner.
She informed that the district administration had worked out a detailed strategy of deploying enrolment teams to enroll the left population under Aadhar.
She said that these teams would follow a Panchayat-wise route plan and would provide services to every Panchayat for a minimum period of
three days.
People who did not receive their Aadhar numbers could also contact these roaming enrolment centres and collect their e-aadhar and any person whose Aadhar enrolment has been rejected could also re-enroll through these centres, added Chauhan.
