JAMMU: BJP State President and MLA Sat Sharma (C.A.) discussed various developmental projects and welfare schemes launched by PM Narendra Modi led Government, while chairing a meeting of State office bearers here on Tuesday.
Member of Parliament Shamsher Singh Manhas, State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul and State General Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh were also present in the meeting.
Sat asked the district Prahbaris and Seh Prabharis to visit their respective districts and highlight these achievements in the public adding that the government at the Centre is completing two years on 26th May and programmes at different levels should be planned across the State.
Shamsher Singh Manhas said that the Centrally Sponsored Schemes have been extended to every nook and corner of the state of Jammu and Kashmir like other states and the party activists has to educate the masses about the people friendly programmes and policies of the Narendra Modi led NDA government.
Sat Sharma also announced the nomination of some state office bearers as Prabhari and Seh Prabhari.
Rajni Sethi has been nominated Prabhari for Jammu District, Aseem Gupta for Jammu Rural district, Anil Parihar for Udhampur district, Rajeev Charak for Ramban district, Jugal Kishore Gupta for Jammu West district, Som Raj Khajuria for Doda district.
Similarly, Anuradha Charak has been nominated as Seh Prabhari for Jammu District, Rakesh Gupta as Seh Prabhari for Samba, Praduman Singh as Seh Prabhari for Akhnoor and Rajinder Gupta as Seh Prabhari for Rajouri.
Meanwhile, Sat started construction works of lanes and drains at Shanti Nagar area of Ward Number 35 in the presence of local residents and political activists of the area as well. The works will be done under the supervision of JMC at an estimated cost of around Rs 19 lakhs where MLA has contributed Rs 9 lakh from his CDF and rest is covered under the plan of Municipal Corporation.
