AKHNOOR : Monthly meeting of Block congress Committee (BCC) Akhnoor was held at Akhnoor under its president Baldev Raj Sharma.
In the absence of Minister Sham Lal Sharma who could not reach due to his preoccupation, Baldev Raj Sharma heard the problems highlighted by the participants.
Sharma told the workers that there had been devastating loss to the life, property and infrastructure besides the loss of crops and live stock due to rains and floods. He told the workers, Sarpanchs and Panchs that they should reach out to the sufferers and provide them all sorts of help and also take up their cases with the administration.
Prominent among those present in the meeting include Ram Rattan, Subash Langer, Babu Ram, Ram Dass, Shakati Ram, Ashok Sharma, Youth president Aman Gupta, Women cell president Raj Rani and Satosh Kumari.
