Randomization of EVMs done

LEH: The second and final randomization of Election Voting Machines (EVMs) of Leh and Nubra Constituencies was held in National Informatics Centre, Leh on Saturday.
The randomization took place in presence of the General Observer for 48-Leh Assembly Constituency, Adesh Titarmare and District Election Officer Leh Simrandeep Singh. The list of ballot units and control units allotted to various polling stations was set up for Nubra and Leh Assembly segments.
The observer emphasized that the list of EVMs may be distributed among political parties and Independent candidates. He directed that the EVMs shall be allotted to specific polling stations as per the randomization list and no change or replacement of EVMs shall be made thereafter.
The final randomization of polling staff to be deployed at polling stations of Nubra and Leh Assembly Constituencies was also finalized in presence of the General Observer and District Election Officer Leh at National Informatics Centre, Leh.
