KATHUA: The second randomisation of EVMs was conducted by District Election Officer Kathua Dr Shahid Iqbal in presence of Election Observers and the representatives of Political parties on Tuesday.
Returning Officer-Kathua Assembly Constituency, G Prasanna Ramaswamy, ARO Kathua Anshul Garg, District Informatics Officer Sideshwar Sharma, District Information Officer Indu Jamwal, Nodal Officer for EVM and Training Vivek Puri, Election Naib Tehsildar M.A Mughal were also present on the occasion.
The whole process of randomisation was held in presence of Election General Observer D.N Pandey for 65-Kathua Constituency, Election General Observer Mohd. Sohail for 67- Hiranagar, Election General Observer M. Chandershekhar for 64-Basohli and Election General Observer Harikrishan for 63- Bani Assembly Constituency.
Meanwhile, the second randomisation of polling staff including Presiding Officers and Polling Officers appointed for all 625 polling stations established in the district was held at DC Office Complex.
District Election Officer Kathua, Election Observers were present during the whole process of randomization.
