JAMMU: BJP MLC Vikram Randhawa started ayurvedic plantation drive at Bawa Kailakh Dev Asthan Thather Bantalab. Earlier, Bawa Kailakh Dev Asthan Mahant Rohit Shastri felicitated MLC Vikram Randhawa with Bawa Ji Ki Chunri and a memento.
The aforesaid plantation drive was organised by Bawa Kailakh Dev Parbhandhak Committee.
Chief Guest on the occasion, Vikram Randhawa said that such plantation drives are quite significant for ensuring cleaner environment and roping in youth to understand nature and ecology and to develop their perspective in building clean nation. He also appreciated Dev Asthan members for their initiative in planting good numbers of saplings for generating awareness and creating green environs. Bawa Kailakh Dev Parbhandhak Committee President Ram Pal Seth, General Secretary Shakti Dutt Sharma, Sunil Dutt Sharma (Raka), Chinore Police Post Incharge Rajesh Verma, Rajat Soodan, Goutam Shastri, Anil Khajuria, Advocate Pawan Khajuria, Sahil Seth, Kuldeep, Vaid Parkash, Vijay Seth, Ramesh Sharma, Nazir Gujjar, Suram Singh, and Dr. Varun were also present.
