RAJOURI: With an aim to help flood affected people in reconstruction of damaged houses, Ramakrishna Mission under its scheme ‘Build Your Own House’ on Sunday distributed more than 1,400 steel roof sheets, 280 pipes, 215 kitchen set of utensils, 215 jackets among as many as 285 flood affected families of Budhal and Mahore areas of Rajouri and Reasi Districts.
House construction material was distributed among affected families during a programme held in Budhal under the supervision of social activist Mohammad Farooq Inqlabi who was deputed by Secretary Ramakrishna Mission Jammu Centre Swami Nirantrananda Maharaj and Swami Trinainananda Maharaj.
Inqlabi also appealed to other NGOs to also concentrate on the distribution of house construction material besides relief material among the affected families.
Others who provided assistance on the occasion were Ranjeet Singh, Munshi Ram and Pervaiz Ahmed Lone.
