JAMMU: Powerlifter Rakesh Kumar of Jammu brought laurels to the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir by securing three gold medals in Powerlifting, Bench Press and Deadlift under 110 KG Master Category in the 21st World Powerlifting Championship.
The championship was organized by Amateur Powerlifting Federation of India under the banner of World Powerlifting Federation at Divisional Sports Indoor Stadium, Amaravati Maharashtra from December 4 to 8, 2020.
The Genaral Secretary of Amateur Powerlifting Federation of India, Deepak Bagul and Team Coach Amit Dutta lauded the efforts of Rakesh Kumar.
