Rajni Patil arrives in Jammu to intensify Jai Bharat Abhiyan

JAMMU: JKPCC President Vikar Rasool Wani, Working President, Raman Bhalla, former Minister Yogesh Sawhney along with other Congress leaders on Sunday welcomed AICC Incharge for J&K Rajni Patil, AICC joint secretary, Manoj Yadav at Jammu Airport on their three-day J&K visit.
AICC Incharge will review the organizational affairs and activities. She will also interact with party cadres. Jai Bharat Satyagraha Abhiyan will be intensified with the arrival of Patil, Party’s statement said.
The statement further said that ‘Jai Bharat Satyagraha’ across J&K will be intensified, joining AICC’s intensified protest on the Adani issue and disqualification of Rahul Gandhi.
The launch of the protest programme will mark news conferences highlighting the motive behind “preplan” conviction and subsequent disqualification of Rahul Gandhi and seeking support from people to save democracy.
She informed that the protest programme started by AICC from April 29 will continue till April 30 and various forms of protest, including a series of street corner meetings, will be organized at district level across J&K during this period.
During the protest, the party will highlight how democracy was under attack under the Narendra Modi government and why the BJP was targeting AICC leader Rahul Gandhi.
Speaking to media persons in Jammu, Patil said that Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s disqualification is “an attack on progressive democratic forces.
Condemning the disqualification of his party leader, Patil appealed to her party members to gear up to make a sacrifice for Rahul Gandhi by defeating the designs of the BJP. The Congress will definitely win the fight against the dictatorial rule to prove that dharma will win,” she said.
