JAMMU: Geeta Bhawan Shopkeepers Association, Parade, led by its President Vinay Kumar Baru submitted a memorandum BJP MLA Rajesh Gupta in support of their demands.
The charter of demands presented include construction of two speed breakers in front of the Mini Stadium Gate, repairs of slabs on drains, installation of fresh sodium lamps in the area, provision of proper containers for collection of garbage, construction of one more gate in the toilet facing stadium etc.
Rajesh announced Rs 5 lakh from his CDF for the construction of Satsang Hall at Rameshwar Mandir Parade. He was accompanied by JMC Health Officer, Dr. Zafar Iqbal and senior BJP leaders Shiva Kumar Gupta, Sunil Dogra and Sanjay Mahey.
Among others who were present include Gulshan Mahajan, Girdhari Lal, Surinder Pargal, Subhash Gupta, Prof. Shyam, P.C Gupta, Ravi Singh, Chaman Lal, Ashwani Gandotra, Raman Gupta, Bed Prakash Padha, Sunny Sehgal, Balkrishan, Rajesh Nischal, Rajesh Bhatt, Vijesh Bharti, Gopal, Anubhav Suri and Onkar Sharma.
