STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Director General of Police K Rajendra is likely to take over as the next Chief Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) in March next year, after the tenure of incumbent CVC ends.
Reliable sources have confirmed that CVC Kuldeep Khoda shall not continue to hold the post due to norms.
“The outstanding performance of DGP has made him government’s first choice for the coveted post”, informed sources. However, clouds are still hovering over decision of extending his current extension of three months which was made clear after his superannuation in September last. Director General Coordination and Law and Order Sheesh Pal Vaid is all set to succeed K Rajendra as the next state police chief.
