Rajeev Gupta appointed Principal Secretary to CJ of JKHC

JAMMU: The High Court of Jammu and Kashmir has appointed Rajeev Gupta, Director, Jammu and Kashmir Judicial Academy as the Principal Secretary to the Chief Justice of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court.
An order issued by the Registrar General of the High Court, Jawad Ahmad also stated that “till posting of a regular incumbent in his place, Rajeev Gupta shall hold additional charge of Director, Jammu and Kashmir Judicial Academy.”
The order added that Gupta will continue to be responsible for the management and completion of the High Court’s internship programme, which is underway.
Rajeev Gupta joined the Jammu and Kashmir Judicial Service as a Civil Judge (Junior Division) in 2000, when he was appointed a District and Sessions Judge.
He has also served as an Additional District and Sessions Judge, Anantnag and the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Budgam.
He joined as the Director of the Jammu and Kashmir Judicial Academy in November 2018. Earlier, he had served as the officiating Director of the Judicial Academy in 2010-2011.
