‘Because of Modi, it was possible for Rahul to hoist Tricolour in Lal Chowk’

JAMMU: BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh today blasted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for spreading canard while talking about Indo-China relations
Chugh said Rahul sounds like an Ambassador of China in India.
He said Rahul is misleading the country by saying that the Modi government has ceded any part of Indian land to China. In fact, it was his grandfather Pt Nehru who allowed China to capture big chunk of Indian territory to China in 1962. The entire country has since been paying a heavy price of it since then, Chugh said.
Rahul Gandhi should in fact seek apology from the nation for all the loss caused by Pt Nehru.
Chugh recalled how Rahul Gandhi had been holding breakfast meetings with Chinese officials in Delhi during the Doklam crisis period.
He said that the 140-day long so-called Bharat Jodo Yatra of former Congress President Rahul Gandhi was a conspiracy to mislead the country.
Rahul Gandhi, who had advised Union Home Minister Amit Shah to walk from Jammu to Srinagar, should remember that he hoisted the Tricolour at Srinagar’s Lal Chowk, which became possible only after the abrogation of Article 370, Chugh said.
He said Rahul Gandhi has been active in politics for the past two and a half decades, during which the Congress Government was at the Center under the leadership of Dr. Manmohan Singh for ten years. Why Rahul Gandhi didn’t dare to unfurl the Tricolour in Srinagar when the Congress Government was in place, he asked.
“Rahul Gandhi had to wait for three generations to unfurl the Tricolour at Lal Chowk and if he got a chance, it was possible only after Prime Minister Narendra Modi abrogated Article 370 and 35 A-a stigma on the integrity of India. He should have thanked Minister Narendra Modi for this, he said.
Tarun Chugh said that 140 crore people of the country should be informed about Rahul Gandhi who associated with a person during the Bharat Jodo Yatra, who questioned the pride of the army. The Gandhi family, which has done the politics of vote bank and appeasement, is now worried about China, he added.
He said Rahul Gandhi has forgotten that due to the wrong policies of his great-grandfather Jawaharlal Nehru, China occupied thousands of acres of the country’s land in 1962. He said that it is the result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies that China has not mustered guts to raise even eye upon the borders of the Country. Chugh asked Rahul Gandhi to tell about the baseless comments he made on BJP-RSS during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. The country has been suffering because of the Gandhi family and the Congress party for 55 years. This is the reason why the Congress has lost its mass base today.
