POONCH: Indian Cricket legend Rahul Dravid has taken time to spend with youths during his visit to Poonch District of Jammu and Kashmir State.
Dravid, who is the second highest run-maker in Test cricket history, surprised the young fans as they met him first time in the Poonch city.
Former Indian Captain, Rahul Dravid, who is in Poonch to meet a family member posted in Army, on Sunday afternoon paid obeisance at Shri Baba Buddha Amarnath Shrine.
He offered prayers at the Shrine.
Army organised a function on Monday to honour Rahul Dravid where youth got an opportunity to interact with him.
During the function, Rahul Dravid was welcomed by Youth Association for Service of Humanity and Nation (YASHAN) President Imtiaz Salaria who expressed gratitude to A.S Pindarkar, Brigadier 93 Infantry Brigade Poonch for providing such an opportunity to youth of this backward district.
In his message to the youngsters, Dravid said they should be ready to work hard if they want success in their cricketing career at national and international levels.
