Dear Editor,
Through the esteemed column of your paper and as a component of civil society, I like to pose some questions to the voters of Billawar Constituency, that how they react to the statements and acts of their representative holding second highest post of Dy. CM in the alliance government at present. To arrive them on right conclusion few of the issues finding vast coverage in local news papers except those papers paddling soft for the incumbent of treasury benches, will be an eye opener for the voters. Whether he is really projecting and solving the problems of Jammuites and their constituency in particular or getting himself alienated from the political map of the Billawar Constituency while in Jammu the graph has been grounded to minus. Some facts to refresh the memory are elaborated below;
Adaptation of Chara-e-Sharief, for development, when the world famous shrine itself is in a position to develop it and when it is on the top priorities of the government with regard to all the religious places in the Valley along with other places. Is it not an attempt to show off secular character and big concern for the religious shrines of Valleyites. Zero concern towards the Hindu places in Jammu, when their religious places are desecrated. How many places especially in Billawar Constituency have adopted by their representative on the pattern and concern shown in valley?
The ouster of female Vice-President of BJP on the recommendation of RSS owing to her corrupt practices, being wife of Dy.CM, how cannot be attributed to the consent in absentia of your representative and allegations of amassing huge wealth within a short period cannot be linked to corruption charges?
The dropping of the name of brother of your representative from recommendatory list prepared by him for nomination as member of very high esteemed commission by senior leaders of BJP, does it not speak of promoting dynastic rule?
The criminal silence of Dy.CM on the grant of amnesty to stone pelters, objected by all likeminded people, politicians, and social organisations and above all by the think tank and visionary watchers is a matter of concern. Is it not speaking that your representative either lacks vision or unable to stand before the mighty politicians of Valley even though he is Dy.CM in the Coalition Government and backed by 25 MLAs of his party?
Over the remarks of CM in Jammu that Jammu has not produced any leader as to project the discrimination with Jammu people, the muteness of Dy.CM, who was sharing the dais with CM have brought shame to all the people as their representatives were put into question mark. Is it not total surrender of your representative before the Kashmir leadership and how he claims to be voice of people in Jammu when he was all-time looser from Jammu and embraced by you? The controversial statement on Burhan Wani event is exactly the same words spoken by CM few days back and brushed aside by central BJP leadership and by State BJP President also. Is it not falling in tune with Kashmir leadership and singing their melodies in the tune of appeasement policy of Kashmir centric politicians? There is endless list of questions to be asked, but the answers to above questions will be enough to know the views of the voters of Billawar Constituency, as their MLA is the voice of the people of Billawar and how they react to their voice must be known to all as their representative is answerable to public in particular being Dy.CM of the State.
