JAMMU: On account of Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Elections-2014, the State Government has announced that public holiday shall be observed on 2nd December, 2014 (Tuesday) for Phase-II of the elections in the districts of Reasi, Udhampur, Poonch, Kupwara and Kulgam.
Public holiday shall be observed on 9th December, 2014 for Phase-III, in the districts of Baramulla, Budgam and Pulwama, and for Phase-IV in the districts of Srinagar, Anantnag, Shopian and Samba going for polls on 14th December, 2014, while as for Phase-V public holiday shall be observed on 20th December, 2014 (Saturday) in the districts Kathua, Jammu and Rajouri.
